Komaki’s electric vehicle (EV) division has launched its third offering in India this year — the Komaki DT 3000 — after it had rolled out the Ranger motorcycle and Venice e-scooter. The DT 3000 is available at its dealerships across the country.
Komaki DT 3000 will be propelled by
a powerful 3,000-Watt BLDC motor and comes with a patented highly-advanced
lithium battery of 62V52AH.

The company claims a whopping 220 km range on a single charge for the DT 3000 and this will help it beat rivals, hands down.
Earlier this year, the EV manufacturer had launched the Ranger, which is the country’s first electric cruiser bike.
Meanwhile, the Ranger has a 4kWh battery pack paired with a 5,000-Watt motor. The electric scooter is believed to have a range of around 250 km on a single charge, making it the electric two-wheeler with the longest range in the country.
The DT 3000 will be one of the few high-speed electric scooters in the Indian market currently, having a top speed of 90 km. So far as speed is concerned, the DT 3000 is similar to the Ola S1 Pro.
After roll out, the DT 3000 is set to be the flagship e-scooter offered from the Komaki stable and will be positioned above the Venice.
Komaki’s new model will have a litany of tech features, and may comprise a fully-digital instrument panel as well as Bluetooth connectivity, among others. It will be offered in three colour variants.
The Japanese company, however, has been mostly tight-lipped about details of the electric scooter.
Komaki DT 3000’s rivals will be the likes of Ola S1 Pro, Simple One and EeVe Soul electric scooters that are a part of the same segment.
The Komaki DT would be priced in the range of Rs 1.15 lakh (Rs 115,000), ex-showroom Delhi.
Gunjan Malhotra, director, Komaki’s electric vehicle division, has said that after receiving overwhelming love from customers, the company expects to win hearts again with the DT 3000.
He added that bikers will feel proud to ride an unmatched vehicle in its segment.

Right now, Komaki has only one high-speed electric scooter model, the Venice, with a battery pack of 72v40ah.
It has features such as a repair switch, regenerative braking system and reverse switch, among others. The Venice e-scooter can do around 120 km on a single charge.
Compared to petrol scooters, e-scooters have cheaper fuel, maintenance is way cheaper and easy and they also promote a clean environment that will help curb global warming to a great extent.
Komaki’s strategy to roll out the DT 3000 in India could see many make a beeline for the e-scooter as its top speed of 90 km is its USP, even though pricing is on the steeper side.
