MG Comet could lose out to Tata Tiago because of high pricing

MG Motor has revealed that its upcoming compact electric vehicle (EV) would be called the ‘Comet’ in India, and if it is priced around the Rs 10-lakh mark (Rs 10,00,000), MG could lose out to the likes of Tata Motors, which has unveiled the Tiago EV for less than Rs 9 lakh (Rs 900,000).

It is believed that MG will pack the Comet with the latest on-board technology and it could be rolled out around the middle of this year itself.
